The RIALA Senior Living Institute, founded in 2019 by the Rhode Island Assisted Living Association, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization focused on addressing the needs of the aging population. Its mission is to promote healthy aging, improve care for older adults, and advance the assisted living industry. The Institute integrates senior living and healthcare expertise with evidence-based research to educate the public, enhance caregiving practices, and support professional development in senior care. By collaborating with external stakeholders, RIALA Senior Living Institute facilitates research studies, develops industry best practices, and creates seniors' educational resources and programs, supporting all seniors, particularly low-income and minority groups.
